PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a city water receptacle formed in a simple structure, capable of improving a workability, and capable of reducing a cost. SOLUTION: This city water receptacle comprises a water faucet body 1, a cover body 6, a joint part 9 having a detachable joint member, a flow regulating handle 10 disposed at the other opening 7 of the cover body 6 and regulating the flow of water or hot water allowed to flow from an outlet 4, and positioning means 30 to 42 for positioning the water faucet body 1 to an installation hole S by holding a wall W, a floor, or an installation panel by the water faucet body 1 and the cover body 6. The positioning means comprise a connection member 34 for connecting the water faucet body 1 to the cover body 6. The cover body 6 comprises a water leakage hole 44 at the lower position of two openings 7 and 8 and a leak water guiding member 45 capable of guiding at least leak water from a connection portion between the outlet 4 and the joint part, 9 to the water leakage hole 44.
