SOLUTION: This is the fluorescent material for a low-speed electron beam composed of inorganic particles, and an electroconductive oxide layer having gas barrier property is coated on the surface of the inorganic particles, and binder resin and organic metal alcoholate are contained in a printing paste to produce the fluorescent material, and as for the fluorescent display tube, the fluorescent material for the low-speed electron beam is used.
