摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger element that reduces a material cost and pressure loss, improves productivity by linking a ridge-like section folding step with a bonding and forming step, and also takes a measure for environmental conservation, in ventilation of a house, etc., in an energy saving way. SOLUTION: The material 2 of this heat exchanger element has four first adhesive applied portions 6 formed by applying an adhesive to the first surface 5 of each square plate 2a in stripe-like forms having prescribed widths at prescribed intervals; and second adhesive applied portions 9 formed along both end edges 8 of the second surface 7 of the plate 2a. In the ridge-like section folding step 13, ridge-like sections 10 are formed by forming ridges one ridge by one ridge by folding up the stripe-like second adhesive applied portions 9 to the second surface 7 side along the sections 9 by means of a folded paper molding die and thermocompression bonding two ridges formed at each one sport to each other. In an end edge bending step 15, the second adhesive applied portions 9 at the end edges 8 are bent upward, and a laminate 4 having flow passages 3 is formed by laminating the plates 2a thus formed upon another so that their ridge sections 10 may cross each other and thermocompression bonding the plates 2a to each other. Consequently, the adhesive applying step, ridge-like section folding step, and bonding step can be performed as a series of automatic steps.
