A method for the treatment of pulmonary hypertension in a patient, said method comprising administering to a patient in need thereof a pulmonary blood pressure lowering amount of (-)-[[4-(1,4,5,6-tetrahydro-4-methyl-6-oxo-3-pyridazinyl)phenyl]hydraz ono]propanedinitrile or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. |
