PURPOSE: A rotary engine structure is provided to improve the energy efficiency by making the length of stroke of a circular piston drum to be long, maintain stable rotation of the piston drum to the single direction, and reduce noise. CONSTITUTION: A piston blade(12) of a piston drum is rotated in the main body(20) of a cylinder and compresses a mixture flowed in. If the compressed gas is explored by a spark of an ignition plug(37), all valves of opening/shutting parts are operated to prevent the back flow of the combustion gas to an intake part(A) and guide to a discharge part(B) to discharge the gas. The explosion energy, generated when the compressed gas is explored, rotates the piston drum and is converted into the rotation kinetic energy.
