<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To immediately stop a generator when the accumulated power of a spiral spring becomes insufficient for operating a timepiece in an almost synchronous state. SOLUTION: In this timepiece, a time display means is operated almost synchronously with a time reference part as long as torque CB applied by a spiral spring box is minimum synchronous torque CSYNC or more. The timepiece comprises means 12, 16 for braking the generator, and a magnetizing means 18 having a static positioning torque CP for holding a rotor in a nearly static position, between the rotor and the generator at the stop of the generator. When the time display means is no longer operated in an almost synchronous state with the time reference part, the generator braking means is immediately actuated. The magnetizing means is constituted to make the static positioning torque CP almost equal to or over the reference torque CREF where the torque applied to the rotor by the spiral spring box is equal to the minimum synchronous torque CSYNC.</p> |
