PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for recognizing information intrinsic to a vehicle such as the passing place, date/time and the possessor of the vehicle passing through a prescribed place. SOLUTION: The system for recognizing the passing vehicle is provided with a passing vehicle reader having a detecting means for the passing vehicle, an imaging means and a data accumulating means and with an information processor specifying the intrinsic information such as the passing place, the passing date/time and the possessor of the vehicle by passing vehicle information supplied from the data accumulating means storing, as passing vehicle information, place data based on the installation place of the passing vehicle reader, date/time data by clocking based on the detecting means, and image data obtained by photographing an identification badge which is previously distributed to the possessor of the vehicle by the imaging means. |
