PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for positioning accurately a reactive part on an array or for correcting misalignments, in a device or an apparatus for executing multiple analyte assay. SOLUTION: This method for imaging molecules included in the array of separated reactive parts on the surface of a solid support includes following processes. (1) The array is imaged, and a first molecule arranged on the solid support on the known position to the array. (2) Inspection windows are aligned coincidently with the separated reactive parts on reference to the first molecule. (3) The quantity of a detectable signal at each window is measured.
