PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a presence condition confirming system, with which a conversation can be performed by originating a telephone call to the communicating destination of a party in one step. SOLUTION: It is confirmed from a client device 31 (request side client) on the side of a user A (3) for originating telephone call by a server device 11 connected to each of clients by a network whether of not a user B (4) of a client device 41 (confirmation side client) on a side to receive the telephone call is present. In the server device 11, the confirmation side client 41 to be used by the user is specified out of addresses on a user information DB 12 by a presence condition confirming means 13 and corresponding to the state of that client 41, it is determined whether the user B is present. Furthermore, the request of attending confirmation from the request side client 31 to an arbitrary user (user B) is accepted by a presence confirmation request accepting means 14, and the presence condition of the user B is presented on the client device 31 of the user A by a presence condition presenting means 15.
