PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image exposing device, with which control work can be simplified in the case of controlling the positional deviation of each of exposure light along with a subscanning direction. SOLUTION: In the image exposing device for exposing an image by moving paper along with the subscanning direction while irradiating the emulsion surface of the paper with first, second and third exposure light beams for preparing a color print in a main scanning direction, this device is provided with a control print preparing means for preparing a control print for controlling the positional deviation of each of exposure light in the subscanning direction when each of exposure light is made to scan in the main scanning direction, an image data storage part 41 for storing image data for preparing the control print, and an exposure engine 5 for irradiating the paper with each of exposure light on the basis of the image data for control print, and an image formed on the control print contains a pattern image formed by generating the relative positional deviation in each of exposure light along with the subscanning direction in advance and contains the combination of a large number of pattern images, with which a positional deviation quantity is made to be different step by step.
