PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature responsive valve capable of preventing accumulation of foreign matter. SOLUTION: In the temperature responsive valve, an inlet 1, a valve chamber 5, and an outlet 2 are formed by valve casings 3 and 4, a valve element fitting hole 7 and a valve port 8 of a diameter smaller than the valve element fitting hole 7 are provided between the valve chamber 5 and the outlet 2, a valve stem fitting hole 18 is provided in a control rod 17 screwed to the valve casing 4, another end side of a valve stem 12 with a one end side movably fit in the valve element fitting hole 7 and a valve element 13 opening and closing the valve port 8 provided in a tip is arranged so as to movably fit in the valve stem fitting hole 18, a bimetal laminated body 26 used as a temperature sensing member is arranged around the valve stem 12, and the valve port 8 is opened and closed by the valve element 13 by axially displacing the valve stem 12 by deforming effect of the bimetal laminated body 26. A connecting rod 23 fixed to the valve stem 12 is fit in a vertical slit 22 provided in the control rod 17 so that the valve stem 12 rotates following rotation of the control rod 17. A cutter 15 is provided in a portion of the valve stem 12 facing a far side wall 14 of the valve element fitting hole 7 where the valve port 8 is opened.
