PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement plate which can enhance a texture in terms of appearance in spite of a lightweight and inexpensive type, for example, by allowing a feeling of separation into small units to be expressed by virtue of a difference in surface texture between a roofing material and a wall material. SOLUTION: In the roofing material 1, colored silica sand 6 is sprayed for fixation onto a surface of a base plate 5 formed by making cement serve as a main member, and a coated film is formed on the surface of the base plate 5, under a state in which the sand 6 is sprayed for fixation, by application of coating. A spray parts, onto which the sand 6 is sprayed for fixation, and a non-spray part h, onto which the sand 6 is not sprayed, are formed alternately in a lateral direction at least in an exposed part b on the surface of the base plate 5.
