PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disc drive in which adverse effect of an electric disturbance, occurring in a region where an FPC touches an electronic component on a printed board, is prevented. SOLUTION: The optical disc drive comprises an optical pickup 1, a printed board 7 mounting an electronic component 7b, and an FPC 2 having one end connected with the optical pickup 1 and the other end connected with a connector 8 mounted on the printed board 7 wherein a shield plate 9 is provided on the printed board 7 in the lower region of the FPC 2 and a gap for mounting the electronic component is provided between the shield plate 9 and the printed board 7.
