PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system that can easily realize mutual authentication among electronic equipment, in compliance with Bluetooth. SOLUTION: When a user tries to make mutual authentication carry out between a personal computer 1 and a camcorder 2, the user depresses both authentication buttons 26, 35 at the same time. As a result, an authentication program 22a of the personal computer 1 and an authentication program 32a of the camcorder 2 detects the time when both the authentication buttons 26, 35 are turned on and the time when both the authentication buttons 26, 35 are turned off, the personal computer 1 and the camcorder 2 exchange the time information; and when they discriminate that the times are coincident within a range of a prescribed time difference, they are regarded as authentication processing is mutually conducted and grant authentication. |
