PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial leather having clear relief impression due to color difference between projecting parts and dent parts, excellent in elasticity and having relief patterns excellent in wear resistance. SOLUTION: This patterned artificial leather has relief parts on the gigging face of an artificial leather comprising extrafine synthetic fiber having <=0.5 dtex fineness, wherein the relief parts are color-coded by deep coloring at dent parts consisting of the fiber fixed by heat-shrinking or fusing and light coloring at the projecting parts so as to have relief patterns. Thereby, the dent parts are easily formed on printed parts of printing region, a part of graphite or the like are taken into the dent parts and so the relief patterns are clearly expressed.
