PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the optimum passing method for a crossing which corresponds to the state of a signal and the state of a vehicle. SOLUTION: A signal information supplying device is provided with a crossing information obtaining means 1 obtaining information on the crossing where the signal is arranged and in front of the vehicle, a signal information obtaining means 1 obtaining information on the signal of the crossing, a vehicle speed detecting means 3 detecting vehicle speed, a passing method judging means 4 judging the optimum passing method for the crossing based on information on the crossing, information on the signal and detected vehicle speed and signal information outputting means 4, 5 and 6 outputting signal information on the optimum passing method. Thus, not only an alarm for making the vehicle stop at a stop line like a conventional device but also signal information on the optimum passing method for the crossing can be supplied to a driver. The driver therefore can pass the crossing where the signal is arranged with ease.
