OPTICAL FIBER SENSOR AND PLACING METHOD FOR THE OPTICAL FIBER SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the part corresponding to the crest of a steel support by attaching an optical fiber sensor to the support of the optical fiber and half-split steel support at the site, eliminating troubles of treating long supports attached by the optical fiber sensor in advance, attaching the optical fiber sensor after assembling the half-split steel support and arranging the optical fiber sensor also at the part corresponding to the crest. SOLUTION: The optical fiber 2 is attached on a steel tape 3 in the longitudinal direction and projections 4 are also attached on the steel tape 3 in the longitudinal direction with constant intervals. Pasting means 5 covered capable of exposing contact surface of steel tape 3 between the projections 4 are attached.
