PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition wall and a mounting method therefor, which can make an appearance favorable by smoothly forming a side face. SOLUTION: Characteristically, this partition wall for accomplishing the above purpose, which is provided between a floor face and a ceiling face so as to partition a space between the floor face and the ceiling face, is equipped with a partition wall body which is disposed between the floor face and the ceiling face in a state wherein a lower end face is made to abut on the floor face and wherein a gap is provided between an upper end face and the ceiling face, a positioning covering material which is made to abut on an upper end of the partition wall body in such a manner as to be flush with one side face of the partition wall body and whose upper end is mounted on the ceiling face, so as to close the gap, and the first face material which is mounted on the other side face of the partition wall body and whose upper end is made to abut on the ceiling face.
