PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gabion and a construction method of the gabion having excellent workability and visual property with little deformation of a wire gauze part. SOLUTION: This gabion 10 of box shape has at least a bottom net 11, and a front face net 12 and a rear face net 13 erected at the mutually opposed sides of the bottom net. The upper end of the front face net 12 is provided with a reinforcing member 15 for preventing the swell of the front face net.
