<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display institutions such as a service area and a parking area of a highway or the like, with a mode easy to be grasped. SOLUTION: When information regarding institutions such as a service area and a junction of a highway on which a vehicle runs is displayed on a display, institutions existing on the highway are retrieved first from a storage means, and names of the retrieved institutions are aligned so as to correspond to existing positions on the actual highway and displayed. Further, sequential selection of displayed names of the institutions is made possible with a cursor on a display by operation of a remote controller or the like.</p> |
