PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely acquire information provided on a network via a terminal adapter, and to print that information. SOLUTION: Ordinarily, facsimile equipment to be used, while being connected to the analog port of the terminal adapter, is to be used as a printing means and at access time previously registered in the terminal adapter, the terminal adapter automatically accesses target information resources, which are registered similarly in advance, over the Internet, downloads the relevant information resources, and after prescribed converting processing is applied, the information resources are transferred to the facsimile equipment, which is connected to the analog port, and printed.
