PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing system which can properly photograph an object from a plurality of directions with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: Twelve cameras 11 (11a to 11l) are fixed to respective support rods of a nearly cylindrical housing 12 facing the center part of the housing 12. A back sheet 13 is held movably along an annular rail provided at the upper part of the housing 12. A personal computer which controls the whole photographing system instructs the individual camera 11 to photograph the subject in a specified order and controls the drive motor 15 to move the back sheet 13 to the backside of the subject opposite the camera 11 to take picture. That is, the back sheet 13 is moved sequentially to the backside of the subject opposite the camera 11 to take the picture, and hence the subject can be photographed by the individual cameras 11 from the plurality of directions while no other cameras 11, etc., is photographed behind the subject.
