摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb, attenuate, or cut off vibrations by instantaneously responding to various vibrations having largely different frequencies and amplitudes by using characteristics of electric viscous fluid and magnetic viscous fluid. SOLUTION: A head side oil chamber and a bottom side oil chamber of a double acting hydraulic cylinder having a piston so supported as to freely vibrate communicate with each other in an oil by-pass, the oil chamber and the oil by-pass are filled with the electroviscous fluid and the magnetic viscous fluid, and vibration characteristics of a vibration source received by the piston are detected to issue a vibration detection electric signal. A power supply control signal corresponding to the vibration characteristics is calculated based on the vibration detecting electric signal, an electric field and a magnetic field are impressed to the electric viscous fluid and the magnetic viscous fluid in the oil by-pass by the power supply output controlled based on the power supply control signal to change the viscosity of the electroviscous fluid and the magnetic viscous fluid according to the vibration characteristics, and the vibration of the vibration source is controlled by the viscosity change.
