PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collar member as a component of a hinge device having the durability corresponding to durable years of an apparatus using the hinge device. SOLUTION: This hinge device used for mounting a keyboard and a display screen rotatably to each other, and provided with a support having a horizontally extended hollow part and fixed to the keyboard, and a rotating shaft fixed to the display screen at its one end and rotatably connected to the base at the other end, is further provided with a collar member 33 inserted between the hollow part of the base and the rotating shaft. An inner face of the collar member 33 is provided with grooves 40a, 40b having a trapezoid or circular arc-shaped cross section and extended in the longitudinal direction of the collar member 33 for storing a lubricant.
