PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic cleaning apparatus for a squeeze-pumping sewage manhole, which is simple in structure, and has no failure possible portion. SOLUTION: According to the automatic cleaning apparatus, compressed water discharged from an air vent nozzle mounted in a midpoint of a conveying pipe 1, is poured into hoppers 3 set on both sides of the nozzle 2 at locations below the nozzle 2, and the hoppers 3 which have fallen in an imbalanced state due to the weight of pooled water about a shaft 4, are rotated to drop the pooled water at a time, followed by agitating and cleaning the interior of the manhole. Further, the water is conveyed by a sewage pump, and the apparatus is operated until sewage in the manhole reaches a lowest operation inhibiting level.
