PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a DVD-R recorder capable of avoiding a state with the finalized recording being impossible due to sticking of contaminants, dust, etc., thereby data recorded on the DVD-R are unreproducible by a DVD player, by arranging so that the take-out of DVD-R is allowed, only after the finalize recording is carried out when the DVD-R is taken out of the recorder. SOLUTION: For solving the above problem, the taking out operation of the DVD-R is executed, after the finalize recording is carried out when instruction for taking out the DVD-R is inputted to the recorder.
