PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make effective use of the capacity of an automatic radar plotting aid(ARPA) while dissolving the complication of display contents when displaying a mark of the other ship by an automatic identification system(AIS) and a mark of a target by the ARPA, on the same display screen. SOLUTION: A ship identification signal transmitted from the AIS of the other ship is received by the AIS of an own ship, and the other ship is acquired and tracked by the ARPA on the basis of the detected image data of a radar. In the case where the target by the AIS and the target by the ARPA are from the same other ship, the AIS target is preferentially displayed. Display contents on a display screen thereby become easy to see while avoiding useless acquisition and tracking by the ARPA. |
