PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition useful for an oil based ball point pen which excels in the dispesibility of a blue pigment to be used as the colorant and, simultaneously, can obtain a smooth feeling of writing and, in addition, has good writing performance after the progression of time. SOLUTION: The oil based ink composition for a ball point pen comprises a blue pigment, an organic solvent, a resin to be selected from a styrene/maleic acid copolymer resin and/or a rosin modified maleic acid resin which has an acid value of 50-250, and a phosphoric acid ester of a polyoxyethylene alkyl ether or a polyoxyethylene alkylaryl ether. |
