PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid redundant data in an upper layer from being processed, without increasing the processing load on the upper layer. SOLUTION: A receiver of a duplicate network system discriminates whether a history information storage section 16 is to store history corresponding to the received frame, registers the history of the received frame to the history information storage section 16 when the history has not been registered, and informs the upper layer about the frame, by discriminating relay to be valid. The receiver deletes the history, corresponding to the frame having previously received from a frame sender device of the received frame, when the history information storage section 16 stores the history, discriminates the relay to be invalid, and aborts the received notice without notification to the upper layer. Since the receiver informs the upper layer of the frame, only when the history information storage section 16 is not registered with a received frame, receiver informing the upper layer about a redundant frame is avoided.
