PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a connection between horizontal frames to undergo linear cutting treatment on the same surface, and save labor for working of a vertical frame. SOLUTION: In the curtain wall structure, a panel mounting frame part is composed of the vertical frames 3A and 3B and the horizontal frames 4A and 4B; the vertical frame 3A or 3B forms a cross-sectional shape which has a side plate part 3a, a frame part 3b located on the indoor side of the plate part 3a, and a bead mounting piece part 3c located on the outdoor side of the plate part 3a; the connection between both ends of the horizontal frames 4A and 4B undergoes the cutting treatment on the same surface; the frame parts 3b undergo the cutting treatment at upper and lower ends of the vertical frames 3A and 3B, so as to expose plate surfaces of the plate parts 3a; end surfaces of the horizontal frames 4A and 4B are made to abut on side plates of the vertical frames 3A and 3B; and the mounting pieces 3c are located outside the side plate surfaces, whereon the horizontal frames 4A and 4B abut, of the vertical frames 3A and 3B.
