PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide a fluctuation time of fluctuation display in a variable display device step by step according to control by division by a plurality of retained ball numbers for shortening the fluctuation time, to shorten the fluctuation display for positively speeding up consumption of the retained balls, and to enhance pleasure of a player. SOLUTION: The numbers of retained balls storable up to a maximum of 16 in a retained ball number storage means 57 are divided by a plurality of retained ball numbers to be graded into four retained ball number ranks in each of a high probability case and a low probability case. When the number of the retained balls stored in the retained ball number storage means 57 is not less than five or not less than nine, a shorter shortened fluctuation time is alternatively selected according to increase in the number of retained balls, and consequently, the much shorter shortened fluctuation time can be set. Therefore, fluctuation of display contents based on the shortened fluctuation time is finished quickly and the retained balls can be consumed in an early stage. |
