The invention relates to a self-adhesive tape used for filling, sealing and bonding purposes in house construction. Said tape comprises a support layer (1) on the upper face of the tape and an adhesive layer (2) on the lower fac e, the latter layer being provided with a peelable cover film (3). The cover fi lm has at least one slit (6) running longitudinally and the tape is folded over onto itself along said slit (6) in such a way that at least one section of t he cover film lies on the exterior (3).
