PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method easily collating and judging whether the skull and a subject person's face photo are those of the same person on the basis of the three-dimensional model data of the skull and the data of the subject person's face photo. SOLUTION: The three-dimensional coordinate position of the surface of the skull is measured in a three-dimensional measuring machine 9, the skull is image-displayed as a three-dimensional model by using a computer 10 for a three-dimensional processing, and the direction and size, etc., of the skull three-dimensional model are automatically adjusted so as to match a triangle connecting optional three points on the model with the triangle data of corresponding three points of the two-dimensional image data of the pertinent person' s face photo 2. Thereafter, the skull three-dimensional model is corrected to display corresponding to a photographing distance and converted to the two-dimensional image data, only the optional contour and part of the skull two-dimensional image and a pertinent person's face photo image are extracted in the computer 11 for an image processing, the respective position relations are compared and whether or not the skull and the pertinent person's face photo are those by the same person is collated and judged. |
