PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer capable of retaining unprocessed job data without adding a memory having a large capacity in the case where the power is shut down. SOLUTION: This printer sequentially executes the printing by receiving job data from an external device. The printer can form an electronic mail. When the printer receives a request of shut-down of the power, unprocessed job data is attached to an electronic mail to be sent to a predetermined address. After the electronic mail is sent, the shut-down operation is executed. |
