PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an upper end part of the glass accommodated in a midgate from being broken in loading the luggage, by completely accommodating the upper end part of the glass in the midgate. SOLUTION: A holding means provided with a glass pressing means and a glass operating means is mounted on an upper end part of the glass when the glass is connected to a roof panel part. The holding means is fixed to the glass, and composed of the pressing means fixed to the glass and having a mounting position within a length L' of the glass, and the operating means connected to the pressing means by a hinge, supporting the upper end of the glass, and connected to a fixed end of a grip member mounted on the roof panel to hold the glass.
