PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a hand easy to put on a work when the work is to be cut within a circular saw. SOLUTION: In the circular saw wherein a ruler leg (19) is fitted into a groove (22) formed on a base (13) and a ruler main body (20) is attached to the ruler leg (19), the ruler main body (20) is, in a position-changeable manner, attached to the ruler leg (19). Since the ruler leg (19) does not project onto a motor case side, the work can be cut while the hand is put on the work as it is.
