PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure sensitive and heat sensitive recording material having good pressure resistance, small occurrence of fogging and excellent color developability. SOLUTION: The pressure sensitive and heat sensitive recording material comprises a coating layer containing a microcapsule for sealing a leuco dye on a surface of a support. In this material, a method contains a developer having a mean particle size of a mean diameter or more of a compressing direction in a state in which the microcapsule is compressed to a maximum limit in a substantially elastically deformable range, in the microcapsule coating layer. |
