PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous carrying device for easily determining the moving direction of footsteps even if a user separates from the footsteps. SOLUTION: This continuous carrying device moves a moving handrail 16 together with the footsteps 10 by moving a plurality of connected footsteps 10, and has the moving handrail attached with a pattern 18. The moving direction of the footsteps 10 can be determined by visually recognizing a movement of the pattern 18 caused by a movement of the moving handrail 16. The pattern 18 is formed by sticking a sheet-like member to the moving handrail 16.
