PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support a countermeasure in an unaccountable stopping state. SOLUTION: A light emitting diode 8 of a 7 segment is installed in a control apparatus 7 mounted in a stairs lift body 3. The self-diagnosable function having a failure state diagnosing program and an operation state diagnosing program is incorporated. A diagnostic result by the self-diagnosing result display function is displayed on the light emitting diode 8 of the 7 segment by a number. The displayed number is confirmed via a peep hole 9 to recognize a stopping cause.
