PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid treatment apparatus capable of degassing and defoaming a liquid easy to generate air bubbles and having low surface tension efficiently and continuously in a high treatment flow rate. SOLUTION: In the liquid treatment apparatus for feeding a liquid to one surface of a hollow fiber membrane while reducing pressure on the other surface side thereof to degass the liquid, the hollow fiber membrane comprises a non- porous hollow fiber membrane and the membrane density of the hollow fiber membrane is set to 2,000-7,000 m<2> /m<3> . By this constitution, even the liquid easy to generate air bubbles and having low surface tension can be well treated in performing degassing/defoaming treatment without making the hollow fiber membrane hydrophilic and generating the lowering of efficiency due to air bubbles.
