PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a board box unit for a game board capable of preventing the board box for the game machine from being detached from a fitting member by mistake. SOLUTION: The box unit 1 is rotated counterclockwise through a connecting plate 8 and moved to a two-dot chain line position. After that, while the outer surface of the bottom 35 of the box body 3 is pressed from the connecting plate 8 side of the box unit 1 through an engagement hole 54, the box body 3 is slid to the side of a projecting part 32. Whereupon, a locking claw 34 is detached from an engagement hole 54, so that the engagement of the locking claw 34 and the engagement hole 54 is released. When the locking claw 34 and the engagement hole 54 are disengaged, locking of a cutout part 53 by the locking claw 33 is released so that each projecting part 32 can be pulled out of each hole part 52. When each projecting part 32 is pulled out of each hole part 52, the board box 2 is detached from the fitting member 5.
