PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for therapeutic treatment for alcoholismor alcohol dependence of mammals. SOLUTION: This method for therapeutic treatment for alcoholismor alcohol dependence of mammals including human comprises administering an opioid ant agonist with a monoamine-reuptake preventive to the mammals. The pharmaceutical composition comprising a pharmaceutically permissible carrier, a monoamine-uptake preventive and a medicinal composition containing the opioid antagonist is also provided.
