<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an identification method and a judging device for tooth colors solving such a problem that there are errors due to illumination conditions, colorimetry and the spectral reflection characteristics of materials, etc., while a color is specified by the colorimetry by using a shade guide, recorded and transmitted in a dental field, a doctor compares a natural tooth and the shade guide under a fixed illumination condition, selects one and performs coding by the number clinically and an instructed dental technician prepares a restoration object so as to match with the sample of the number. SOLUTION: In the identification method and the tooth color judging device adopting it, the color of the natural tooth is accurately classified only from the light intensity measurement data of a small number of times by the means of forming a low dimension partial space where a small number of base vectors from the spectral emissivity measurement data base of the natural teeth and the shade guide spread, preparing a filter having spectral emissivity equivalent to the vector and observing the tooth, or synthesizing light having spectral transmittance equivalent to the base vector, illuminating the tooth and classifying and displaying it.</p> |
