PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing plate which has an underlying layer containing a polymer of the same type as a hydrophilic polymer emulsion included in a photosensitive composition on a surface of an aluminum base so that adhesive properties of an interface between the substrate layer and the photosensitive composition layer is high, and in which a plate wear resistance is excellent, adhesive properties of an interface between a surface of a base and the substrate layer is also high, further, operations such as a development, wiping-off and the like are not required and a sensitivity and a resolution are excellent. SOLUTION: An original plate for lithographic printing comprises a hydrophilic resin photosensitive layer made of the photosensitive composition containing the hydrophilic polymer, the hydrophobic polymer emulsion, a crosslinker and an optical absorber via an underlying layer on a substrate. In this plate, as the underlying layer, a resin containing the polymer of the same type as the hydrophobic polymer emulsion included in the photosensitive composition as a main component is used. |
