PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine packaging apparatus which is compact and easy to handle by allowing a plurality of necessary tablet containers among numerous tablet containers to be mounted. SOLUTION: The medicine packaging apparatus for selectively feeding a medicine for packaging includes a tablet storage shelf for receiving the tablet containers, a relatively small number of tablet feed means on which the tablet container is mounted for feeding tablets, and a packaging means for packaging the tablets fed from the tablet feed means. It also includes a storage site memory means for memorizing a storage site where the tablet container is put on the tablet storage shelf, and a storage site searching means for searching the storage site of the tablet container memorized in the memory means.
