SUCTION FILTER MEDIUM FOR TURBINE AND USE METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction filter medium for a turbine which is held to a clean state generating no contamination in the turbine and suppressed from a rise in pressure loss. SOLUTION: The suction filter medium for the turbine includes a polytetrafluoroethylene porous film and an air permeable support material and the fiber diameter of at least one layer of the air permeable support material is 0.2-15μm. The filter medium is used so that the air permeable support material is arranged on the upstream side of the polytetrafluoroethylene porous film with respect to air streams passing through the filter medium toward the turbine.
