PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive device for automatically watering to a plant in a flowerpot, a planter, or the like, capable of storing water required for several days when a person travels or goes out and intermittently and automatically feeding a required definite amount of water in order to prevent root rot. SOLUTION: Two pipes are inserted into a container in which water is charged and the container is airtightly closed with a cap and the container is made to stand upside-down to form siphon pipes. A weighing tank is provided in the lower part of the siphon pipes and a water-receiving cup and an air cup are separately provided in the weighing tank. A water supply pipe is inserted into the hanging-down water-receiving cup and the other air pipe is inserted into the air cup and sunk into water. The air cup is made to communicate with an evaporative pipe provided outside the weighing tank. Water level of the air cup is lowered by water evaporated from the evaporative pipe and the air pipe inserted into the air cup is exposed and air is sacked into the air pipe and water is intermittently and automatically fed to the plant. A discharge pipe discharged to the flowerpot is provided in the lower part of the weighing tank. |
