PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new wire saw device capable of producing a workpiece with a desired cut thickness without exchanging a multi-grooved roller and to provide a simultaneous cutting method and to provide a simultaneous cutting method. SOLUTION: A plurality of multi-grooved rollers 1 in which a plurality of guide grooves 2 for a wire W are formed, and the wire W is wound around in a multi state between the multi-grooved rollers 1. As the multi-grooved roller 1 is rotated, a workpiece S is pressed against the wire W passing through between the multi-grooved rollers 1 and simultaneously cut into a plurality of the wires. In a so formed wire saw device, a distance between the guide grooves 2 is changed in an arbitrary range. This constitution can produces a workpiece in a desired cut thickness without exchanging the multi-grooved roller 1. |
