PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To get rid of rats while an object to be packaged can be packaged with a relatively simple structure. SOLUTION: An electric circuit of the packaging apparatus includes a cutter heater 8b and a hot plate heater 10b and also includes a heater calorific value regulating circuit 27 for turning ON/OFF the heater 10b with a predetermined frequency for getting rid of rats. It further includes an electromagnetic wave output circuit 28 for turning ON/OFF a solenoid coil 30 with the frequency for getting rid of rats to output electromagnetic waves.
