PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize stabilized operation by eliminating erroneous operation of a driver even under such a voltage condition as the supply voltage is 3.3 V or less. SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording head having ink ejection openings, a plurality of heating elements generating thermal energy being utilized for ejecting ink, and ink channels communicating with the ink ejection openings while incorporating the heating elements, a driver for driving the heating elements and a logic circuit for controlling the driver are formed on the same substrate and the gate oxide film of an enhancement NMOS transistor forming the driver is thicker than the gate oxide film of an enhancement NMOS transistor forming the logic circuit.
